Google Pixel and Pixel XL smartphone users have been reporting random lags and screen freezing.

Google Pixel and Pixel XL smartphone users have been reporting random lags and screen freezing as the issues have started causing concerns and raising discussions.

Google is an innovator, that has stopped being news. As the giant company has continuously expanded its area of expertise, it is also involved in the smartphone market.

Their latest release, the Google Pixel and Pixel XL release has been met with quite its share of excitement. In fact, it was so big, that the company could not keep up with the demand.

This led to a delayed shipment period. It also determined Google to offer a $50 Play Store credit. As they have managed to meet demand, the giant will potentially be encountering a new problem.

Pixel and Pixel XL users have taken to commenting. The Google support forums have been seen multiple smartphone issues reports.

Google Pixel users have been reporting a number of hardware problems. The latest reports feature lags that lead to complete system freezes. These have also reportedly caused stability issues.

Screen freezes are the latest on a list of hardware issues. The degree varies across devices. Some users reported a screen freeze that would only last a few seconds.

In such cases, it would mostly lead to annoyance. However, there are more extreme cases. Some Pixel users have reported freezing lasting up to some good minutes.

An exact cause of the freeze ups has yet to be determined. Some seem to hold a certain app as the culprit. Life 360 was developed so as to ensure communication. It should help Google Pixel owners keep in touch with family and friends.

The respective app seems to be a common thread amongst the affected users. Some phone owners have even gone to uninstall the app. After doing so, their smartphones are reportedly back in working order.

However, the app may not be the cause. Other users have also gone to comment on the matter.  They state to have never installed the respective software.

There are also those that have uninstalled but are still experiencing freeze ups. Google Pixel and Pixel XL users have vehiculated a number of potential reasons.

Some suggest that the GPS is to blame. However, using navigation, maps, and weather apps registered no consequences. Others suggested that an update might be the culprit.

Others seem to indicate temperatures as the reason. A Google Pixel users reported encountering the problem as the smartphone’s screen was cold.

Its buttons were said to be in good working order. As the screen started warming up, it was also said to have regained its proper function.

The screen freeze is not the only problem of its type. Google Pixel and Pixel XL owners have also reported camera freezes. They have also encountered audio clicking and popping problems.

The Google Pixel developer team is reportedly aware and working to fix the smartphone issues. Orrin, the Pixel Community Manager, issued a response. According to it, the team is investigating.

They have been looking into the matters. As it is, updates will reportedly be posted as a conclusion or solution has been found.

A new statement, in relation to the new issue, has yet to be posted. It remains to be seen how Google will be fixing these problems. Their cause has also not been specifically determined as of yet.
