Baba Yaga's breathtaking journey
In John Wick Chapter 4, Keanu Reeves once again plays the indestructible Baba Yaga, determined to regain his freedom by taking on the mysterious Big Table, an international mafia organization to which he was once loyal. The carnage begins in Osaka and Berlin before reaching its climax in the French capital.
A dream cast and mind-blowing action scenes
Keanu Reeves is surrounded by a stellar cast, including Donnie Yen, Bill Skärsgard, Scott Adkins, Hiroyuki Sanada, Ian McShane, Laurence Fishburne and Lance Reddick, to name a few. John Wick Chapter 4 is the most spectacular and ambitious installment of the saga, constantly reinventing itself with stylish and exhilarating action sequences.
A universe of criminals that defies gravity
The John Wick saga challenges the laws of realism, plunging its universe into a dimension where gravity works differently. Keanu Reeves, although wounded and hobbled, seems indestructible, resisting the worst ordeals and recalling the emblematic figures of the Terminator and Michael Myers.
Stunning fight choreography and cartoonish violence
The confrontations in John Wick 4 are conceived as ballets with experimental choreography, mixing black humor, Asian culture and references to comic books and video games. Director Chad Stahelski, a former stuntman, manages to create a cartoonish violence that is both jubilant and unabashed.

A grandiose Parisian finale
Despite a few flaws, such as minimalist dialogue or a certain redundancy, John Wick 4 manages to avoid the soft underbelly of its predecessor. The Parisian finale is Dantesque, epic and monstrous, offering almost an hour of chase in the streets and stairs of the capital. This sequence, worthy of Night Warriors and Buster Keaton, will undeniably mark the history of action cinema.
All in all, John Wick Chapter 4 is a slap in the face, an intense and jubilant experience that will delight action movie fans. The film proves that Keanu Reeves is still capable of incredible physical prowess and that the John Wick saga has not finished surprising us.
