Because there’s never a dull moment for the police, we give you the story of an 18-year-old man from Milan who ended up in prison after a pot mix-up.
According to the police report, on Friday, at around 5 p.m., a woman called 911 to report a suspicious package.
The caller told the 911 operator that she parked her vehicle at a grocery store and went inside to buy lottery tickets.
Upon returning, she found a package on the front seat. The woman also told the police officers that she left her car unlocked.
After arriving at the location, the authorities discovered a package wrapped in duct tape with a label on top. The label read “Sour Kush.” Upon opening the package, the police officers discovered 40 grams of marijuana.
Using the street surveillance footage, the authorities were able to track down the delivery man.
Based on the police report, the suspect, later identified as Anthony Damante, met with an unidentified woman before dropping the package.
The Milan drug dealer later told the authorities that his customer paid $300 for the pot package and instructed him to leave it on the driver’s seat.
Damante and his customer parked their cars in the nearby parking lot. However, before the Milan drug dealer had a chance to make his drop, the caller parked her Buick between them.
During questioning, Damante declared that this isn’t the first time he made a drop. Furthermore, he said that the ‘merchandise’ came from a Sandusky dealer.
