A new study showed that 92% of people stay in places that have polluted the air. The air pollution in many areas exceeds WHO limits. Some of these places are Western Pacific, Eastern Mediterranean, and Southeast Asia. The U.N Health agency made this report that has incredible numbers.
Another report, this time, made only in large cities, showed that 98% of people who live there face air pollution.

WHO demonstrated that 10% of deaths are caused by pollution because inhaling polluted air can cause, lung cancer, heart disease, and strokes. The country that has the highest rate of pollution-caused deaths is Turkmenistan, followed by Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Afghanistan, China, and Egypt.
This report focused on outside polluted air that has killed three million people each year.
According to Dr. Carlos Dora, Who environmental coordinator, currently there are two major trends. The rich countries are succeeding in improving the quality of their air, while the poor countries are polluting more than ever.
The aim of this report is to show individuals and policymakers the risk that pollution brings. The researchers mentioned that doctors should warn their patients that the polluted air is a great risk factor that could cause heart disease and that some countries have higher levels of air pollution.
Another bad thing mentioned by the researchers is that the masks can’t reduce the air pollution because they can’t hold the fine particles out of the airways.
The researchers also mentioned that North America is not as polluted as Europe. This is because in Europe the air is polluted by methane and ammonia found after agriculture. Another thing that caused the polluted air in Europe is the use of diesel fuel.
Despite the fact that the citizens of China do several efforts to reduce or stop the pollution, China is number six when it comes to the number of deaths caused by polluted air.
The most serious pollution comes from transportation and burning wood and coal to provide energy.
