Specifically, a mere 1.31 million units of the ultra-thin device were sold, compared to 12.18 million units of the Galaxy S25 Ultra.
Strikingly, a new report counters the cancellation rumors, asserting that work is ongoing for a device codenamed More Slim, which alludes to its sleek design. Given that the codename for the Galaxy S25 Edge is “Slim,” it makes sense for the new model to take on the Galaxy S26 Edge branding.
This isn’t the only indication that the company may have been surprised by the backlash regarding the Galaxy S26 Edge cancellation. A user on social media discovered that the company is also developing software for the “More Slim” device. This development spurs curiosity about what features the new model could bring.
