The bill to allow beer bikes to operate on Californian streets is unanimously passed by California Senate.

The bill was proposed by a Democrat Senator Richard Pan from Sacramento.

The state legislation made it clear that the cities have a say on whether they allow alcohol on board of the beer bikes or not.

The legislation is not having an appropriate definition of the vehicle known as beer bike, and it is leaving loopholes for legal uncertainty.

The bill would set a stage for the safety standards of the vehicle.

This is good news to all as the business already employing the notoriety and fun of beer bikes spiking all across California.

Beer bikes already exist in Europe since decades particularly in U.K. and Germany and is growing popular in United States.

They have been operated as tourist rentals or tour providers in California. If the beer is allowed on bike then it will become a party bike for which it is known.

Beer bike business in Sacramento and San Diego are flourishing and the Californian legislation will take the business to new heights.

A beer bike is multi passenger human powered vehicle. It is human powered and is provided with a driver who controls the steering and breaking of the vehicle.

Beer bike is known by many names as pedal crawler, birriciclo, a party bike, beerbike, and a cycle pub.

It is huge fun riding the beer bike and hence it is often double as tourist rentals or private touring vehicles.

The beer bike will also enhance social interaction when all members sit in a configuration under the canopy and enjoy the sports, games and the activity is enjoyable.

California State Senate has passed the bill and now it will advance to the Assembly and it is not expected to face opposition in the assembly.
