On Tuesday an 18 wheeler truck got stuck in the mud alongside interstate 49 in Natchitoches Parish and was in danger of tumbling over into a ditch.
They got help from the elephants; the truck was carrying elephants from New Orleans to Dallas.
Natchitoches parish Sheriff’s deputies arrived at the scene at 7:30 a.m. to help the truck out.
When they arrived at the scene, they saw two elephants were keeping the truck from overturning.
A local wrecker service arrived at the scene and pulled the truck out from the mud.
