People with heart conditions benefit from using indoor air purifiers, with several risk factors improves or alleviated, making life conditions fresher and healthier.
This is great news for the areas where air pollution is a problem. Although air purifiers don’t prevent heart attacks or medical problems involving heart, but using air purifier leads to reduction in cardiovascular events.
According to some previous research, it was found that particles in the air hidden from the eye can increase the risk of heart problems, including strokes and heart attacks.
An air purifier kills large communities of bacteria and small harmful particles in the air we breathe, making the atmosphere more suitable to a healthy and partly risk free environment.
China which has the highest level of pollution in the world has conducted the study. Target air pollution level is set is 35 microgram of tiny particles per cubic meter, while pollution in biggest cities in Asia exceed from 100 to 500 micrograms per cubic meter.
The study tested 35 healthy college students who randomly used real or fake air purifiers for 48 hours.
Two weeks later, the students spent another two days using the type of purifier they hadn’t used before.
The results were surprising, those exposed to real air purifiers benefited from a healthier environment which resulted in lower risk of suffering from heart diseases.
Air purification reduces air pollution by 57 percent from 96 micrograms per cubic meter to 41 micrograms per cubic meters.
Real air purifiers have significant improvements in matter of inflation and blood clotting.
Researchers found decrease in blood pressure and reduction on airway inflation, also known as exhaled nitrous oxide. Lung function, blood vessels constriction also improved, but still need reinforcements to back up its findings.
