Layout is the new app introduced by Instagram which allows making collage.

The new app works by first opening up the user’s camera roll so that you choose the photos to compose collage.  As you select images , the app presents custom layout that will fit the type and number of photos you have selected.

At the most you can make a collage of nine images.

The app comes with the faces feature which makes it easier to find the photos that feature people.

After the photos are picked there is nothing much to do just simply drag the photos in the layout. The photos can be zoomed, rotated, flipped.

This app comes with a function called Photo Booth where the timer can be set and four pictures are clicked automatically by the front camera of the smart phone, which then appears in a layout.

Instagram has made the app in response to the fact that one of the five uses makes collage using different collage making apps like Pic Collage etc. This will improve the experience of their users.
