The residents of Texas will once again witness the grand State Fair at historic Fair Park in Dallas for the year 2015.
Unlike previous years, this year’s Fair of Texas will encourage the visitors to explore best of the wide range of travel destinations in the Lone Star State.
The Fair organizers are in planning mode and working in full swing to make this year’s gala event, themed “Passport To Texas”, a huge success.
Karissa Condoianis, PR director of the event, said, “And really showing that to travel around Texas and to make your way to the State Fair of Texas, whether you’re coming from near or far. All roads lead to the State Fair. This will highlight a wide range of travel destinations throughout the state, as well as their historical significance too.”
Last year, the State Fair commenced a “Texification” project along with several inclusions and enhancements to the Fair grounds, such as Texas-themed flags and signage, floats and music for the nightly Starlight Parade.
Recently, the State Fair also unveiled a “#ExploreTexas” campaign in order to highlight a wide range of destinations for travelling in the Lone Star State.
State Fair of Texas president Mitchell Glieber said, “After 128 years of bringing quality entertainment to the community, the State Fair continues celebrating Texas heritage, including its remarkable association with education and agriculture.”
“Seeing families and friends coming back year after year reminds us that the State Fair is not just an annual event but an institution unique to the state of Texas that has been serving as one of the several special traditions our great state has to offer,” Glieber added.
The State Fair of Texas for this year will commence on September 25 and end on October 18.
