The theory that will change everything: Scarlet Witch and Darkhold linked to Kang

Kang the Conqueror is the major antagonist of Phase 4 of the MCU, and it's already known that the Avengers will have a hard time stopping this early time traveler in Avengers: The Kang Dynasty and Avengers: Secret Wars. However, one theory suggests that the supervillain may have a strong ally in the Darkhold: Scarlet Witch.

What is the Darkhold?

The Darkhold, also known as the Book of the Damned, is a book that contains transcribed dark magic. Chthon, a demonic entity, is the author of the Darkhold, which includes a chapter about the Scarlet Witch and a prophecy that she must rule or destroy the world. In Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Wanda Maximoff took the book after transforming into the Scarlet Witch.

But the Darkhold corrupts whoever uses it, and Wanda finally realized that the book had shaped her powers and her destiny. So she destroyed every copy of the Darkhold in the universe, but it might not be enough to stop Kang.

The theory linking Scarlet Witch to Kang

An interesting theory proposes that Kang the Conqueror or one of his variants transcribed Chthon's engravings to create the Darkhold. If this is the case, it would mean that Kang is not only a master of dark magic, but is also aware of the Scarlet Witch's prophecy. Which makes him an even greater threat to the heroes of the MCU.

By manipulating Scarlet Witch's fate, Kang may have sought to eliminate the threat she poses to his ultimate goal: ruling the multiverse. Thus, even though she died at the end of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, it is unlikely that this is the end for Scarlet Witch as Kang and his variants may still have influence over her through the Darkhold.

In conclusion, the theory linking Scarlet Witch and Kang the Conqueror through the Darkhold seems plausible and adds an even more terrifying dimension to the MCU multiverse saga. MCU fans will have to wait and see how this story develops.
