World of Warcraft gold now values more than it used to be, since Blizzard now allows players to use the tokens for purchases of loot boxes in Overwatch, card packs in Hearthstone, or other content in Heroes of the Storm.
In 2015, Blizzard introduced these World of Warcraft tokens that players can use either to purchase more time in the game or use real money to get in-game gold. With the release of the new update, they added more options for these tokens, which can even be offered in exchange of Battle.net credit. WoW tokens were already popular, but they most surely will be in higher demand than ever.
Blizzard released a video on YouTube called “WoW Token Overview”, where they explained everything one had to know about these tokens. It contains everything, from how you can auction tokens to how to convert them into Battle.net credit. Feel free to give it a search and learn how to manage this form of Wow currency.
Long story short, players can turn the gold from the game into real money, but it can only be used for the purchase of other Blizzard products. However, this is an innovative idea that can change the world of gaming.
What you have to do is go to the Auction House, click on Browse, and select the WoW Token tab. Then select Buyout and you can purchase the product with the gold you’ve gathered in the game. Afterwards, you can choose if you want more game time or a Battle.net balance of $15.
In North America, a token values around 70,000 gold. The price is not expected to go down too soon, but if you’re excited to spend real money to get gold and tokens, nobody can spoil this pleasure of yours.
If you want to complete the inventories in your other Blizzard games, you can now use the tokens to fill your decks in Hearthstone, get a new skin for Overwatch, or get a new hero, skin, or mount in Heroes of the Storm. If you play Diablo III or StarCraft II, you will have to wait until Blizzard decide to enable the micro-transaction option for these games.
Thus, you can exchange WoW tokens with Battle.net credit that allows you to purchase items for other Blizzard games, you can increase your gold stash or prolong your subscription to World of Warcraft.
